Riverhead firefighters made a quick stop of a house fire on Brown Street in Riverside this afternoon.

Firefighters responded to the two o’clock alarm at a single-family home off Old Quogue Road.

All occupants were safely out of the home, according to Southampton Town Police at the scene.

The Southampton Town fire marshal is investigating. Flanders Fire Department stood by at Riverhead’s headquarters.
