Multiple Injuries at Rt.24 MVA

On Monday night, at around 6:45pm, the Riverhead Fire Department was dispatched to a Signal-23, motor vehicle accident with multiple injuries, Heavy-Rescue requested, at the intersection of Center Drive (County Route 51) and Nugent Drive (State Route 24).

Upon arrival we found all occupants to be free of the wreckage. Crews spread speedy-dry to soak-up leaking fluids, and cut the battery cables to prevent an electrical fire.

All were returned to quarters by 7:25pm.
