Early Morning Mulch Fire

Early on Sunday morning, at 2:39am, a Signal-23, unknown type of fire, was transmitted with the location reported as a home on Riverside Drive. First chiefs on-scene searched the area and found a small fire in the mulch next to the home. They then extinguished it with a nearby garden hose. All apparatus were quickly ordered to Signal-9, standby at stations. And a Signal-5, end of alarm, was announced at approximately 2:50am.
