| On Wednesday night the Riverhead Fire Department held a 'probationary member' class on car fires at the Northville Turnpike Training Center. Six 'probies' were in attendance along with Chief 6-2-33 and 2nd Lieutenant's from both the Washington and Reliable Engine Companies. Ex-Chief Frank Darrow and Ex-Chief Steve Beal did a good job putting this drill together and instructing on such a hot night. They would like to thank all those that attended, and the drivers of Engine 6-2-2 and Support Truck 6-2-9 for bringing down the necessary trucks and equipment. |
