At 6:27PM the Riverhead Fire dept. was dispatched to a structure fire at Riverwoods mobile home park on Riverleigh ave. The smoke could be seem from main street by responding unit. A 13/35 was transmitted by 6-2-32. At first it was reported that there might be a victim inside. No victim was found after firefighters searched the mobile home. One victim was airlifted to Stony Brook with burns. The second person was found outside with minor injures. Flanders fire dept. was on scene with a tanker and sent an engine to the helicopter landing. Flanders Northampton ambulance was also on scene. The scene was turned over to Southampton Fire Marshal's office.
