This afternoon, our department tackled a working structure fire in Calverton Hills. A grill fire spread to the side of a residence, but our crews swiftly knocked it down, containing the blaze. Massive thanks to Ridge and Wading River FD for their direct support at the scene, and to Jamesport, Flanders, and Westhampton Beach FD for standing by at our HQ and handling an automatic alarm.
