| Very early this morning, members of the Riverhead Fire Department were dispatched to provide mutual aid to the Wading River Fire Department for a working residential structure fire in their district.
Our crews assisted with fireground operations alongside multiple neighboring departments under challenging conditions, including strong winds and icy surfaces. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all agencies involved, the fire was brought under control and there were no reported injuries.
We appreciate the professionalism and teamwork of Wading River FD and all responding departments. Incidents like this highlight the importance of mutual aid and regional cooperation in keeping our communities safe.
Thank you to all who responded and worked through the early morning hours. 👨🚒👩🚒 |
