At approximately 4:00 PM, the Riverhead Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a fuel spill at the intersection of Reeves Avenue and Roanoke Avenue.

Units secured the vehicles and applied absorbent material to contain and mitigate leaking fluids. Firefighters also assisted with road closures in coordination with the Riverhead Police Department.
