Motor Vehicle Accident / Fuel Spill

On Thursday, September 18, the Riverhead Fire Department responded to the area of Roanoke Avenue and Southern Boulevard for a motor vehicle accident involving a fuel spill.

RFD crews secured the scene and used absorbent material to contain and clean up the spilled fuel before clearing the incident.

Responding RFD units included 6-2-33, 6-2-76, and 6-2-14.
