Yesterday, the Riverhead Fire Department was proud to host live-fire training exercises for the Joey D Foundation at our training grounds.

Firefighters and instructors from Houston, Detroit, and New York City joined forces to provide hands-on, realistic training for 40 students from across the country. The Joey D Foundation — established in honor of FDNY Firefighter Joseph “Joey D” DiBernardo — continues its mission of improving firefighter safety and survival through these valuable training opportunities.
