At approximately 5:13 PM this evening, the Riverhead Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire at the intersection of Roanoke Avenue and Middle Road.

Upon arrival, units found the vehicle fully involved. Crews quickly stretched a handline and knocked down the fire, bringing the incident under control in short order.
