March 16, 2026

Just before 3:00 AM on Friday, March 13, the Riverhead Fire Department responded to a report of a trailer fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters located a 17-foot pullable trailer well involved in fire. Crews quickly stretched a hose line and brought the fire under control, preventing further spread.

Units operated on scene for a short time to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and the area was safe.

As always, we thank our volunteers who respond around the clock to protect our community.
