| On Sunday morning, approximately 50 members participated in one of three days of our annual smokehouse SCBA interior firefighter qualifications and bailout recertification.
This hands-on training ensures our members remain proficient and ready to operate safely in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) environments, in accordance with required annual SCBA training standards .
Members also took the opportunity to train with our newest apparatus, including 6-2-8 (Brush Rapid Attack Truck) and 6-2-14 (Ferrara engine), continuing to build familiarity and operational readiness.
Training like this is critical to maintaining the high level of service our community expects. |
